Mexico Vacations from Halifax

Mexico Summary
What do you look for when deciding where to go on vacation? Are you a foodie that looks for interesting and authentic cuisine? Do you thrive on museum and gallery hopping? Are you an avid “locally and handmade” shopper?
If you are all of the above, then you must get yourself to Mexico for those incredible experiences! When you book one of the Mexico Vacation Packages from Halifax, you are giving yourself the freedom to enter a place that will entice you (especially your palette!).
Mexico Accomodations
If you are in Mazunte, The Oceano Mar 4-star Hotel is an excellent choice for economy and that Mexican flair. In Taxco de Alarcon, the Hotel Mi Casita is another great accommodation, it is priced right and in the town’s centre. The money you will save by not staying right in Mexico City will delight you and give you some wiggle room financially.
Mexico Climate
Talk about a mixed bag for weather...Mexico is even diverse in their climate! The rainy or wet season begins in May and carries on until October. The yearly temperature on average spans between 22 – 28+ degrees Celsius (the coasts are warmer and inland is cooler). If you are on either of the peninsulas, you will see even hotter temperatures.
Mexico Exploration
To get as much as you can into your “shopaholic & foodie” excursions, there are multiple markets and venues you can explore. In Mexico City, the Mercado de Sonora is fantastic for “witchy” type items. In Oaxaca City, the Central de Abastos main market and the Mercado Juarez market has foods and locally made affairs on offer. Folk art is in abundance when you are visiting Morelia and stop at the Casa de las Artesanias.
